Piktor, this peice is also one of my favorites. I know your model was beautiful but your use of colors here just works wonders with my eyes. She's breath-taking.
For any and all priggish grammar buffs, do not let my use of prepositions and dangling participles shock you. I have this Churchillian nugget for thee: "This is the sort of pedantry up with I will not put." Amen~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
fug //[fuhg] –noun: stale air, esp. the humid, warm, ill-smelling air of a crowded room, kitchen, etc.
[Origin: 1885–90; of obscure orig.; cf. earlier Brit. slang fogo stench]

I sure wish I could paint like you Piktor...who is she?
Oh! I love her eyes, beautiful.
JohnB,
She's my daughter Veronica in 1995.
When I posted this I couldn't type any title or text into the post.
Kirsi, thank you.
I was just wondering who she could be...
So elegant....
Beautiful portrait Piktor. You're clearly a talented artist. Very impressive.
I used to paint portraits on commission, but it got to be too stressful. One little tiny error and the face looks ridiculous.
It's easier to paint the portrait of someone who you love though.. ;)
Dude, I admire you so.
Hi Piktor,
Followed you here from Shrink's site...
Wow this is an amazing panting, I really love it! And I cannot even darw if my life depended on it!
cheers,
Cecilia
